New Taipei City, Taiwan, May 26, 2025 - Vecow Co., Ltd., a global leader in embedded systems, today unveiled its new ultra-compact edge AI solution, powered by Intel Atom® x7211RE processor. The solution includes the PBC-2000 fanless embedded system and EPBC-2000 2.5” Pico-ITX embedded single board computer (SBC). Engineered for deployment in harsh, space-constrained environments, the solution simplifies AI integration across a variety of edge applications such as UAV data transmission, education assistive technologies, and industrial intelligent control.

Compact Design, Industrial-Class Performance
Powered by Intel Atom® x7211RE processor, Vecow’s latest solution delivers dual-core performance with up to 1.49x the single-thread performance of the previous x6000RE series. This boost in processing power ensures energy-efficient operation, high reliability, and real-time responsiveness-essential for industrial automation, robots, and mission-critical applications.

The system supports up to 16GB DDR5 4800MHz SO-DIMM memory and features dual 2.5G LAN ports to support high-speed networking. With a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 70°C and a fanless design, it is engineered to perform reliably in harsh environments and thermally demanding conditions.
Accelerated Edge AI Development
The PBC-2000 offers rich I/O interfaces, including two COM ports, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, and one HDMI 2.0 output. It also includes an external SIM card socket for 5G/4G/LTE/GPRS/UMTS supports, enabling reliable wireless connectivity across various deployment scenarios. The system is optimized for the VHub one-stop AIoT Solution Service, supporting OpenVINO-based AI accelerators and advanced edge AI applications. This enables rapid AI development and faster time to market for vision-based and inferencing applications at the edge.

Built for Space-Constrained, Rugged Deployments
With a compact footprint of 136 x 44.5 x 78.5 mm, the PBC-2000 is ideal for embedded environments where space and thermal efficiency are at a premium. Its 12V DC-in support and fanless design allow for silent, dust-resistant operation, making it suitable for applications ranging from intelligent transportation and UAV systems to industrial control panels and AI-assisted learning devices.
